Scholarships, modern teaching methods, and inclusive governance make it a leading academic hub in the Terai region.

Thakur Ram Multiple Campus is historically affiliated with T.U. as an *A* Classed campus. Because of its historical background, it is seven years older than even Tribhuvan University. At the time of its commencement, it was affiliated to Patna University. Later, it has got affiliated with T.U. yet today. It is situated in the heart of Birgunj Metropolitan City near Adarshnagar. It is the oldest one among all campuses in the whole Terai region. It has two premises called MAIN BLOCK & EDUCATION BLOCK. Both of these comprise approximately 16.5 Bigha of land. Major stakeholders or founder members of this academic institution are Mahabir Ram and Raghubir Ram who established this institute with the name of their honorable father \"Thakur Ram" \ in 1957 B.S. Today education does not only mean learning but also involves research, practicals, experiment, seminar, symposiums, surveys, field visits, etc. to create and get proper placements. This institute has four streams: Science, Humanities, Commerce & Education. But we are trying at our best level to commence new facilities and programs like B.Sc., B.B.S., B.I.T., B.A., B.Ed., M.B.S., M.Ed. & M.A. As our further pious goal is to be M.Sc. in the very near future. Because of its historical Para mounting, it is academically the mother institution in the Whole Terai academic sphere. Thus, its all-around development can be the foundation for the educational hub in Birgunj. Because of this, we appeal to our all well-wishers to focus on its entire environment and overall development. Finally, we want to develop it as a fertile land of academies for skilled manpower required by the nation.
