About This Exam

The Kathmandu University Common admissions Test - Computer Based Test (KUCAT-CBT) is the unified entrance examination for undergraduate programs at Kathmandu University's School of Engineering (SoE) and School of Science (SoS). This computer-based examination tests candidates on Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics (PCM) or Biology (PCB) based on their chosen programs.

Kathmandu University is known for its quality education, modern infrastructure, and industry-relevant curriculum. programs offered through KUCAT-CBT include Bachelor of Engineering in various disciplines, BTech in Artificial Intelligence, BSc programs in Computer Science, Applied Physics, and Environmental Science, and the prestigious Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programs.

The KUCAT-CBT is conducted at multiple centers including KU Dhulikhel campus, KU School of Education Hattiban, and regional centers in Biratnagar and Butwal. Students can select their preferred examination date, time, and center during application, making it convenient for candidates from different parts of Nepal.

A unique feature of KU's admissions process is the separate aptitude test for Architecture (B.Arch) candidates, conducted after the main CBT results.
