Kathmandu School of Law (KSL), founded in 2000 AD and affiliated with Purbanchal University, is a leading non-profit, community-based law college in Nepal. It is the first law school in the country to be accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) system, with accreditation valid from 23 June 2022 to 22 June 2027. KSL was established with a vision to prepare legal professionals who view law not just as a subject of study but as a tool for justice, democracy, and social change. Over the past two decades, the college has emphasized a balanced approach combining classroom learning, practical training, and community responsibility. Maharshi Law College, located in Kupandol, Lalitpur, is a newly established private institution affiliated with Purbanchal University. 

Offering the BA LLB program, it combines academic rigor, practical exposure, and legal research to train future lawyers and leaders committed to justice and community service.

Queens College of Law & Management, affiliated with Rajarshi Janak University, offers a comprehensive BALLB program integrating legal theory with managerial education.

Kathmandu University School of Law (KUSOL), established in 2013 in Dhulikhel, Kavre, is the seventh school of Kathmandu University. It offers programs like BEc-LL.B, BBM-LL.B, LLM in Energy & Infrastructure Law, and Masters by Research, combining legal theory with practical skills.

 Admissions for Spring 2025 are open for students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks; provisional admission is allowed. KUSOL provides modern facilities including library, cafeteria, labs, e-library, sports, and counseling.
