Prof. Dr. Nilam Shrestha
Proffessor
Dear Tri-Chandra Campus Community,
I am deeply honored and humbled to assume the position of Campus Chief at Tri-Chandra Campus, a seat of learning and a beacon of history for over a century. It is with immense pride and responsibility that I embrace this role, being the first female campus chief after 106 years since the establishment of this esteemed institution.
Tri-Chandra Campus holds a pivotal place in Nepal's educational landscape, being the birthplace of numerous influential leaders who have shaped our nation. For over a century, this campus has been a cradle of education, nurturing intellects in a diverse array of programs encompassing sciences and arts, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
With 30 programs that span BA, MA, BSc, MSc, PGDC and even MSc engineering in geology, we have been instrumental in empowering countless students to pursue their academic aspirations and make significant contributions to society. The legacy and historical significance of Tri-Chandra Campus are testaments to the dedication and excellence embedded within its walls.
Undoubtedly, leading an institution with such rich heritage and academic diversity presents its unique set of challenges. Managing and engaging with student party representatives, representing various factions across Nepal, is one such challenge. However, I am committed, wholeheartedly, to meeting these challenges head-on, fostering a harmonious environment that nurtures growth and excellence.
Furthermore, I recognize that our professional societies, comprising esteemed professors, dedicated staff, and ambitious students, are equally crucial in steering Tri-Chandra Campus towards a brighter future. Their expertise, enthusiasm, and collaborative efforts will be pivotal in shaping our strategic initiatives and policies. I extend my hand in partnership to all these societies, ensuring that their voices and contributions are valued and integrated into our collective vision for Tri-Chandra Campus.
Together, as a united campus community, we can overcome any obstacle and make strides towards academic brilliance and societal progress. I invite every student, faculty member, staff, and professional society representative to join hands in this collective endeavor to continue the legacy of Tri-Chandra Campus and to ensure that our institution remains at the forefront of academic excellence.
Thank you for your trust and support. Let us embark on this journey of growth, collaboration, and transformation, striving for the betterment of Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus and our beloved nation.
