Vālmeeki Vidyāpeeth, where Sanskrit language which is also the mother tongue of many languages of the world and which has the living potential to lead the linguistic leadership of future world, cannot and should not stay away from information and communication.
Since this is the age of information and technology, it is the need of present time to bring the immense knowledge hidden in Sanskrit literature to the society. For this, scholars of oriental language and literature need to make a profound contribution to the progress of Sanskrit education connecting them with technology in their respective subjects and fields. Scholars from the western world have taken the ideas from our Vedas and Upanishads and presented them in experimental forms and they have been trying to lead the world through technology inspired by oriental knowledge and wisdom.
Now it has become highly necessary for us to acknowledge the original source and strength of our knowledge and lead the society. For this, Sanskrit education and study can be importantly a solid foundation to move forward. In this course of academic journey, Vālmeeki Vidyāpeeth is going to launch its own website to systematically organize its teaching and learning activities, academic and research works, various national and international conferences, meetings and publications and mobilize the society. On this auspicious occasion, I express my best wishes to all the great personalities and scholars who love Sanskrit and I hope that the upcoming journey regarding Sanskrit study will successfully adopt modern technology and move ahead to achieve its goal.
