

South Asian Institute of Management (SAIM), established in 2005 in Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu, is an independent academic institution dedicated to providing need-based management education in South Asia. Under the leadership of Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani, a former Minister of Finance and Foreign Affairs, SAIM aims to develop skilled managers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders equipped with integrity, leadership qualities, and a strong sense of commitment. Affiliated with Pokhara University, the institute offers BBA and MBA (Global Business) programs and emphasizes practical, regionally relevant curricula, research, and consultancy. SAIM strives to foster creativity, innovation, and teamwork, while building global collaborations and close links with the business and academic communities, ensuring that learning at the institute is both comprehensive and culturally inclusive.
