Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute (SVI), established in 1951 in Panauti, Kavrepalanchok, is a prestigious private educational institute in Nepal with over 70 years of academic excellence. Founded by the late Prof. Bhuwan Lal Joshi and the late Honourable Vijay Nandan Joshi, SVI emphasizes holistic education, blending tradition with innovation, and promotes peace, understanding, and friendship among people of different nationalities. SVI offers a range of programs, including Bachelor-level courses like Bachelor of Aviation Management (BAM) in partnership with Kathmandu University (44 seats) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU), as well as Intermediate-level programs like +2 Science and +2 Management, which are NEB affiliated. Admission to the BAM program requires completion of +2 Science or Management and taking the Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test (KUUMAT). SVI provides students with industry-relevant training through collaboration with Annapurna Ventures, offering access to internships, workshops, and real-world aviation management experience. The institute also offers scholarships in collaboration with Annapurna Ventures, ensuring support for eligible students. While SVI itself is not recognized by the UGC as a university, its degree programs are valid and recognized nationally through its affiliations with Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University. The campus includes facilities such as a library, sports grounds, seminar halls, canteen, and transportation, making it a well-rounded environment for both academic and extracurricular development.
