The Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT) is a three-year program under CTEVT focused on developing competent medical laboratory personnel. The curriculum combines basic sciences, laboratory techniques, and practical training to perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests. Graduates are trained in reagent preparation, laboratory setup, quality control, middle-level lab management, supervision, and research assistance. The program prepares students for licensing under the Nepal Health Professional Council and employment in hospitals, diagnostic centers, polyclinics, and research laboratories.

The Medical Education Common Entrance Examination - Bachelor Level (MECEE-BL) is conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC) for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BPH, B.Pharm and other health science programs across Nepal. This is the mandatory entrance exam for all medical programs.
