The Garden Designer program is a competency-based vocational training designed to develop technical workforce capable of planning, designing, and managing residential, public, and landscape gardens. The program combines 390 hours of in-house training with 160 hours of mandatory On-the-Job Training (OJT), ensuring direct workplace exposure. The curriculum emphasizes applied design principles, landscape planning, computer-aided garden design, and professional practice. Graduates are positioned for employment in landscaping firms, urban development projects, and consultancy roles, as well as self-employment as garden design entrepreneurs.
