

Birendra Multiple Campus (BMC), located in Bharatpur, Chitwan, is a constituent campus of Tribhuvan University established on 1st Baishakh, 2022 BS (1965 AD) as Birendra Intermediate Arts College in honor of King Birendra. Beginning with just 14 students, it gradually expanded after receiving land in 2028 BS and moving to its own building in 2032 BS. As the first multiple campus in Chitwan, it introduced bachelor’s programs in 2035, I.Sc. in 2040, and later master’s programs from 2045 onward. Today, it offers diverse programs including BIT, BSc CSIT, BCA, BBA, BBS, BA, B.Ed., BICTE, BASW, MSc, MBS, and MA, all affiliated with Tribhuvan University. Spread across 19 Bighas, the campus is equipped with modern facilities like labs, library, and canteen, and stands as a model institution dedicated to providing quality education and practical programs for the 21st century.
