Namaste and Welcome to Mid-West University, Nepal!

As the Vice-Chancellor of Mid-West University, it is my honor to extend a heartfelt welcome to our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and all visitors to our vibrant academic community. The Mid-West University, nestled in the naturally and culturally rich city of Birendranagar, Surkhet in Karnali Province, Nepal, envisions preparing competent, competitive, productive, and conscious global citizens through transformative and impactful education. Our mission is to provide an education toward creating a society that is inclusive, equitable, and just. We empower our students and faculty to engage regionally, nationally, and globally, helping the university become recognized as a center for academic excellence.

The Mid-West University is committed to advancing the economic development and social progress of the region through high-quality teaching, research, and knowledge enterprises in a wide variety of disciplines, including Business Management, Science and Technology, Agriculture and Forestry, Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Education and pedagogy, Information Technology, and Law programs in undergraduate and graduate levels.
