About IEC College of Art and Fashion
IEC College of Art and Fashion, established in 1997 at Mandikatar, Kathmandu, is Nepal’s first institution to introduce formal courses in Fashion and Interior Design. Affiliated with Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia, and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Tribhuvan University, IEC has grown into a leading hub for creative education.
With award-winning achievements like the International Gold Quality Award (USA, 2003), Asian Top Fashion Organization of the Year (2016), and Nepal Best Brand Leadership Award (2018), IEC is known for excellence in design education.
The college offers globally recognized bachelor’s programs in Fashion and Retailing and Interior Architecture, along with strong placement support, international credit transfer opportunities, and state-of-the-art labs. As the proud promoter of Nepal Fashion Week and with over 15,000 alumni worldwide, IEC continues to shape the future of Nepalese fashion and interior design by producing creative, skilled, and globally competitive professionals.

Welcome to IEC College of Art & Fashion!
I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all the prospective students, parents, and guardians visiting our updated website. We have strived to provide comprehensive information in one convenient location.
Our journey began 28 years ago in a small 2500sq.ft block in Bagbazar with a dedicated team that dared to dream of offering education in Fashion and Interior Design, a concept unheard of in Nepal at the time. Despite initial skepticism, we persevered and now proudly operate a fully-fledged international standard college in the heart of Kathmandu. Today, we stand as the leading institution in our field.
Our faculty members are seasoned professionals with extensive experience in their respective domains. Renowned fashion and interior designers, both domestic and international, serve as guest speakers, enriching our students’ understanding and fostering creativity. Through on-campus and off-campus exhibitions, as well as participation in the Nepal Fashion Week, our students showcase their designs to the public.
At IEC, we prioritize practical skills, ensuring that our students graduate not only with the ability to visualize incredible concepts but also with the capability to bring them to life.
