Message from Leadership

Message from the Campus Chief

Kolhuwa Multiple Campus was established in 2067 BS in the heart of Kolhuwa, located in central Nepal’s Nawalpur district. With financial support and grants from the University Grants Commission beginning in 2070 BS, the campus transitioned to conducting classes in its dedicated building, facilitating both academic and physical development.

Among community campuses in the Nawalpur area of Nawalparasi, Kolhuwa Multiple Campus holds a prominent position. Despite challenges posed by the Narayani River and regional natural adversities, the campus has remained active in extending access to higher education among highly marginalized groups, including Bote, Majhi, Tharu, Dalit, and other underserved communities.

Looking ahead, the campus is developing plans to introduce educational programs that align with the demands and needs of the 21st century. Currently, only the Management stream is offered at the undergraduate level. The institution acknowledges the need to enhance the quality of its ongoing academic programs by adopting technology-integrated teaching methods and research-based learning strategies. Short-term and long-term policies are being developed to meet these goals.

Education is a vital pillar of human life and a foundation for societal transformation and development. Kolhuwa Multiple Campus is committed to making higher education accessible and affordable while promoting self-employment through entrepreneurial skills among graduates. We are confident that this campus will become a cornerstone for academic and holistic development in the region.

We hope to collaborate with the Nepal Public Campus Association and continue receiving constructive support—financial, infrastructural, and moral—from local bodies, provincial and federal governments, non-governmental organizations, and social workers alike.
