Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our web portal of Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS). As the Executive Director of this institution, I am honored to share this platform with you, where we can celebrate our commitment to excellence in medical education, research, and patient care.

NAIHS is a non-for-profit endeavor of the Welfare Fund of the Nepali Army in the field of health professions' education. Under its two colleges (College of Medicine and College of Nursing),NAIHS currently caters five bachelor level programs(MBBS, BSc Nursing, BNS, BSc. MLTand BPH, and 21 masters level post-graduate programs (MD/MD/MN) in different areas of the medical field. Over the past twelve years, NAIHS has proven itself to be one of the premier institutes in the field of health professions' education by achieving excellent results in the TU University examinations. NAIHS will continue to strive for the best by adding new academic programs at the Bachelor's level (Bachelors of Dental Surgery,etc.), Postgraduate level (new MD/MS programs), and super-specialty level (DM/MCh programs) in the near future.

Dear visitors, our institute has a rich history of nurturing aspiring healthcare professionals, fostering groundbreaking research, and providing top-notch medical services to our community. We take pride in our holistic approach to medical education, which not only equips our students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their careers but also instills in them the values of empathy, compassion, and ethical practice.

In today's ever-evolving healthcare landscape, innovation is key. Our faculty members are dedicated to staying at the forefront of medical advancements, ensuring that our students receive the best education possible. Our commitment to patient care is unwavering. We recognize that our community places their trust in us during their most vulnerable moments, and we take this responsibility seriously. We continually strive to improve our clinical services, embracing the latest technologies and evidence-based practices to provide the highest level of care. For this, our teaching hospital, Shree Birendra Hospital has also been an excellent center of learning over the past years. I am greatly indebted to all the faculty members, teaching staff, and the administration of Shree Birendra Hospital for undertaking the commitment of teaching the students of NAIHS on top of the round-the-clock clinical services, well equipped and dedicated faculties they are currently providing.
