Dear Visitors, I take great pleasure in welcoming you to the website of the Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences, as the principal of this prestigious institution. NAIHS is a non-profit organization run by the Nepali Army Welfare Fund and is acknowledged as an epitome of premier medical education.

The prime objective for the establishment of the institute is the holistic development of our students concerning the acquisition of both optimum medical knowledge and imbibing of good clinical skills. Eleven years ago, since its inception, NAIHS has been the embodiment of excellence which produces competent medical practitioners capable of making a difference in medical care wherever they go. A healthy body breeds a creative mind and thus we organize different sports activities here at NAIHS.

I believe that effective communication is quintessential to excellence. The website is intended to serve as a communication bridge between us at NAIHS, all our visitors, alumni and our students. NAIHS-COM currently runs Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M. B. B. S.), Bachelor in Public Health (BPH), Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (B. Sc. MLT), Post-graduate levels like Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Master in Surgery (M. S.), DM/MCh levels academic programs under the affiliation of Institute of Medicine - Tribhuwan University and Fellowship trainings under affiliation of Nepal Medical Council. 

The website entails information regarding our academic programs, departmental introductions, infrastructures, and extracurricular activities. Keen enthusiasts of research may delve into reading different journals and research papers posted on the site. The website is also a hub for publishing notices.
