A two-year, four-semester graduate program that integrates computer science, information systems, management, and applied technologies to prepare students for mid- to high-level roles in IT industries, academia, and system management.
The Master of Computer Information Systems (MCIS) under Pokhara University is designed for graduates from computing or IT-related bachelor programs who want to strengthen both their technical and managerial capabilities. The curriculum blends theoretical computer science, practical system development, AI, data mining, distributed databases, and professional IT management subjects. With project work, directed studies, seminars, and a thesis component, the program develops analytical thinking, technical depth, and leadership skills required for modern IT environments.
Total program: 60 credits (15 credits per semester).
