MCh Urology at Kathmandu University is a high-intensity, competency-based program designed for surgeons who have completed MS General Surgery. It develops full operative proficiency in endourology, uro-oncology, reconstructive urology, andrology, female urology, pediatric urology, and renal transplantation (depending on institutional capacity). The program integrates advanced surgical exposure, critical decision-making, multidisciplinary collaboration, and mandatory research components. Admission and evaluation are governed strictly by the Medical Education Commission (MEC).

MCh Urology is a three‑year super‑specialty surgical degree after MS General Surgery, training physicians in advanced diagnosis and operative management of genitourinary and male reproductive disorders. It prepares graduates for independent urological practice, research, and academic roles.
