Description
Periodontology is the branch of dentistry concerned with the health of the periodontium — the tissues surrounding and supporting the teeth — including prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gingival and periodontal diseases. The program advances clinical skills in non‑surgical and surgical periodontal therapy, integrates implantology within comprehensive treatment planning, develops research competence and fosters academic teaching ability. Graduates are trained to provide high‑quality periodontal care, contribute to oral health improvement and undertake specialist roles in clinical, academic and research settings.
