MS Orthopedics at Patan Academy of Health Sciences is a three-year postgraduate surgical program focusing on musculoskeletal system management, including trauma, congenital disorders, tumors, sports injuries, infections, and degenerative diseases.

Description
The MS Orthopedics program trains surgeons to manage musculoskeletal conditions through both surgical and nonsurgical approaches. Training occurs primarily at Patan Hospital with clinical postings in other hospitals and community health facilities for sub-specialty exposure. The program emphasizes comprehensive patient care, research, ethics, and professional development. Tuition is waived in exchange for a mandatory service obligation under the PAHS Act.

MS in Orthopedics at BPKIHS is a three-year postgraduate program for MBBS graduates, focusing on surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal disorders.

Description:
The program provides comprehensive training in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, sports medicine, and pediatric orthopedics. Residents gain expertise in fracture management, joint replacement, arthroscopy, spine surgery, and deformity correction. The curriculum integrates clinical rotations, operative experience, research methodology, and community orthopedic practice. Graduates are prepared for consultant, academic, and research roles in orthopedic surgery.

Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS) launched the MS in Orthopedics program in 2025 AD. The Medical Education Commission (MEC) has allocated two seats for admission in this program for the 2025 academic year.
