Summary
Four-year engineering program focused on surveying, mapping, spatial data acquisition, geodesy, remote sensing, photogrammetry, GIS, and geospatial analysis for land management and infrastructure development.
Description
Curriculum integrates engineering fundamentals with spatial-data science. Training covers terrestrial, aerial, satellite-based measurements, digital mapping, geospatial modeling, and decision-support systems. Program is run jointly by Kathmandu University School of Engineering and the Land Management Training Center (LMTC) under Government of Nepal, ensuring structured academic–industry alignment. Graduates gain competence in spatial data acquisition, processing, integration, analysis, and application across engineering, planning, and resource management sectors.
