Diploma in Civil Engineering is a nationally recognized technical education program designed to produce competent middle-level civil engineering workforce for Nepal’s infrastructure development sector. The curriculum is structured to meet public and private sector demands in roads, buildings, irrigation, water supply, sanitation, and urban development.
The program integrates foundational sciences, core engineering principles, and specialized civil engineering subjects across six semesters. Strong emphasis is placed on practical application through laboratory work, field surveying, estimation exercises, and minor and major projects. Graduates are prepared for supervisory and technical roles and reduce dependency on foreign technical manpower while supporting national economic development.
