Admission Process
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% in biotechnology or any biological science stream (Biotech, Agriculture, Biochemistry, Medicine, Environmental Science with Chemistry & Biology, BMLT, Food Tech, or B.Sc. with Chemistry + Botany/Microbiology/Zoology)
• Recognized degree from TU or equivalent university
Admission criteria
• Mandatory participation in MSc Biotechnology entrance exam (TU IOST)
• Entrance exam: 100 marks, 2 hours, MCQs, 35% pass requirement
• Merit: 20% BSc marks + 80% entrance marks
• 80% seats open competition, 20% reserved/inclusive
• Reserved applicants must meet SLC and community-campus criteria
• Vacant reserved seats shift to open competition
