The PCL in General Medicine – Health Assistant (HA) is a three-year diploma-level program designed to train competent mid-level health professionals. The first year covers foundational sciences, while the second and third years focus on applied medical knowledge and skills. The curriculum integrates hospital rotations, emergency exposure, and community health fieldwork. Graduates acquire competencies in general medicine, surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, pharmacology, environmental health, and primary health care, enabling independent work in government or private health institutions.

• Pass marks: 40% theory, 50% practical

Eligibility

• SEE pass with minimum C in Mathematics, Science, and English, average GPA 2.0
• TSLC in related discipline may be applicable for advanced entry

Job Prospects
